Participants will engage in a modeled sound energy investigation (Surrounded by Sounds) that demonstrates how Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI) strategies support language development in science. This interactive session shows how to embed listening, speaking, reading, and writing into a TEKS-aligned lesson, ensuring science content is accessible while strengthening academic language for all students, especially English learners.
